Partnership signed with the companies Amagi and AD Digital seals
broadcaster's entry into connected platforms
Amagi, one of the global leaders in cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV, today announced a partnership with one of the main content providers in Brazil, Jovem Pan, to configure and expand the communication group's presence on FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) platforms. Through Amagi's distribution services, content will be delivered to Brazilian consumers on third-party platforms, both nationally and internationally, as well as within its own platform.
With news, sports and entertainment as the three main pillars of its content portfolio, Jovem Pan has worked in the Brazilian Media and Entertainment market for more than 80 years. The group has a strong presence with its selected audience, relying on its content on Pay TV, radio and OTT-based streaming platforms. The growth of digital consumption in Brazil led the content provider to expand its presence with Amagi and AD Digital – a solutions integrator and service provider company, also being a key partner of Amagi in Latin America.
“We have been following Jovem Pan’s journey towards digital convergence since 2018. It is exciting to observe everything the group has achieved since then, with new initiatives inside and outside the digital universe”, comments Daniela Souza, SVP of AD Digital. “We are happy to be part of another chapter in this story that has been building over the years, especially alongside great partners like Amagi and Jovem Pan”.
The Jovem Pan group will also use the Amagi CLOUDPORT playout service, a solution that has advanced graphic resources and powerful HTML5 rendering, to support it in this new endeavor. They will also take advantage of the high-quality, low-latency streaming capabilities of the Amagi LIVE live orchestration solution. Additionally, the company chose to maximize its success on FAST by utilizing CTV content and ad marketplace tools, which aims to facilitate synergy between content owners, advertisers and streaming platforms.
“We are faithful to our commitment to offering quality content to our consumers. To do this in the digital age, we need strong technology partners with deep technical knowledge and market insights. Amagi is a well-known global leader in FAST and AD Digital has been with us since the beginning. Together, they helped us expand our FAST presence and delight viewers inside and outside our country”, said Roberto Araujo, CEO of Grupo Jovem Pan.
“A brand with a strong legacy like Jovem Pan deserves to have its content reach audiences in all parts of the world,” said Srinivasan KA, co-founder of Amagi. “Again, it is a privilege for Amagi to engage with yet another great content provider with a strong commitment to excellence. Our solutions will help Jovem Pan improve its viewing quality and expand its reach, engagement and revenue. We look forward to seeing them grow and become a global powerhouse.”
