Amagi and AD Digital strengthen their collaboration in Latin America
Amagi, a global leader in SaaS cloud technology for broadcast and connected TV, today announced that it has entered into a new phase of collaboration with its partner in Latin America, AD Digital. The partnership, which began with the cloud portfolio being worked on with broadcasters in the region, will now focus on expanding its adoption and introducing them to new streaming environments, such as Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST). Through the partnership, Amagi plans to expand its customer base and solidify its position as a prominent SaaS technology provider in the region.
AD Digital is a solutions integrator, serving a range of large communications companies in Brazil and other Latin American countries. Its portfolio of services, created with the Media and Entertainment ecosystem in mind, supports its clients on the journey towards sustainable business growth through co-creation and a focus on innovation.
Having achieved year-on-year revenue growth of over US$100% in the period April to June 2022 and following a valuation of over US$$1 billion (leading the company to achieve unicorn status) at the start of the year, Amagi intends to expand its presence in various parts of the world. Latin America is a key market, as it has a high potential for growth in the coming months. The rise of digital natives and consumption of online video content in the region indicates that it is poised for a cloud revolution. This also signals a change in habits among the local audience, which is more predisposed to consuming FAST channels.
In 2022, Amagi has also established itself as one of the leaders in FAST technology for the global market, supporting large media companies such as Jovem Pan, Crackle Plus, Cox Media Group, Banijay Rights, AccuWeather and more to increase their reach and revenue using cloud solutions.
Amagi offers a complete suite of solutions for channel creation, distribution and monetization. Amagi's clients include Jovem Pan, ABS-CBN, A+E Networks UK, beIN Sports, Cinedigm, Curiosity Stream, Discovery Networks, Fox Networks, Fremantle, Gusto TV, NBCUniversal, Tastemade, Tegna, USA Today, Vice Media and Warner Media, among others.
