Newco embraces FAST Channels, partners with Amagi and AD Digital to kickstart its streaming journey
Amagi, a global leader in cloud-based SaaS technology for broadcast and connected TV, together with AD Digital, its main partner in Brazil, today announced a partnership with Newco, part of the Bandeirantes communications group and one of the media leaders in Brazil. Brazilian market, to launch and distribute Newco's FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) channels – New Brasil and Empreender – on Samsung TV Plus' TVP Brazil platform.
Newco's channels will serve viewers in the United States and Latin America with a wide range of quality programming across multiple genres, including Sports, News and Entertainment. In the coming months, Amagi will distribute the channels to major FAST platforms in other international markets. Amagi's cutting-edge cloud playback solution, CLOUDPORT, was the technology foundation behind Newco's transition to FAST. Additionally, Newco deployed Amagi THUNDERSTORM dynamic ad insertion services to increase its ad revenue opportunities on FAST.

Newco's technological transition to FAST was also facilitated by AD Digital, which has been working as a partner in implementing FAST channels in Brazil. The company participated in the planning and execution of the launch of Newco channels, and was also responsible for providing support after their launch.
